At an early age, Dr. Brian Leung has always known that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. Raised in Livingston, NJ, Dr. Leung is a graduate of Livingston High School. Dr. Leung prepared for his career through studies at Cornell University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.
He then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. To combine his knowledge of physics and mechanics with dentistry, he decided to specialize in the field of orthodontics. Following dental school, Dr. Leung completed a three-year orthodontic residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Before moving back to New Jersey, Dr. Leung practiced orthodontics at Bartlett Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics a large and reputable practice in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Leung has a private practice in Old Bridge NJ called ‘Old Bridge Orthodontics’ and has decided to join our new NJ Team Dental Center. His advanced training in orthodontic has allowed him to bring the most advanced orthodontic treatment care to NJ Team and we are honored to have him a part of our team. Dr. Leung continuously strives to provide excellence in orthodontics and is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Middlesex County Dental Society. He attends various continuing education courses and is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Leung’s life outside of the office includes spending time with his wife and their dog, Maddie. Together, they enjoy traveling, trying new foods, snowboarding, rock climbing, and other various outdoor activities.
